Prints longevity

In terms of rendering, archiving, consistency, light stability and paper quality digital printing is easily on a part with silver printing. I use Epson PRO 3800 A2 Fine-Art Ultrachrome K3 pigment-based printer. Longevity is around 85-110 years. For best longevity prints should be overmatted and mounted under glass. They should not be displayed in direct sunlight.

Conditions of use and storage

Use and store ideally at a relative humidity of 35 to 65% and a temperature of 10 to 30°C (50° to 86°F),
Use care in handling printed material, surface susceptible to abrasion,
Store papers in archive quality envelopes, folders, and boxes,
Use only archive grade tapes and glues for mounting & framing.
